The Team

Our team is distributed around the world because we look for the best talent regardless of geographical boundaries. We work completely virtually, but since we were founded in Los Angeles, CA, USA, you might call that our headquarters.

Matt Dotson - Founder

Matt has been a software developer, consultant, and entrepreneur for over a decade. He has been involved in making Fortune 500 companies and other startups successful, and shares his experiences as co-host of the Automate My Small Business Podcast.

Qanda was started to solve my own need to build a community for new entrepreneurs to ask questions and learn from each other. There weren't any options that created the type of community that I was looking for, and so after trying a few other products that didn't meet my needs, I created Qanda to "scratch my own itch".Matt Dotson

Qanda strives to be an Automated Business. After years of optimizing and streamlining business and development operations, all that learning has gone into building Qanda. Streamlining the business allows us to be more responsive to customer needs and offer competitive pricing.

The Technology

Qanda is built using the Microsoft .NET Framework and is hosted by Amazon Web Services. We work hard to make sure that Qanda can dynamically scale to handle the traffic when you need it to. We distribute content around the world using Content Distribution Networks to ensure that your Q&A site loads fast, no matter what part of the world your users are in. We take security seriously and regularly run security audits on the site to make sure your user's data is secure.
